Connemara Pony Show Clifden CLG confirms it will not be managing the 2027 Connemara Pony Show.
Following recent discussions between the two organisations, the Connemara Pony Breeders’ Society (CPBS) communicated its strong desire to bring the Show back under the direct management and control of the Society. In light of that position, Connemara Pony Show Clifden CLG has agreed that its role in managing the event will now come to an end.
We are immensely grateful to everyone who helped us deliver the 2025 and 2026 Shows, particularly our dedicated staff, volunteers, committee members, sponsors, exhibitors, breeders, local businesses and the wider community. Your support, hard work and goodwill made it all possible.
While our role in managing the Show is coming to an end, our support for the Connemara Pony Show and its importance to Clifden remains as strong as ever.
We wish the CPBS every success in managing this important event into 2027 and beyond.
