The major Connemara Housing, Planning & Roads Survey commissioned by the Connemara Chamber in 2024 showed an overwhelming 94% of the almost 900 respondents were in favour of the Galway City Ring Road. The survey findings were furnished to An Coimisiun Pleanála and highlighted that the ring road is considered vital by locals for improving access to Galway City and reducing regional traffic congestion.
The Connemara Chamber looks forward to the timely completion of this important infrastructure project.
