Public Consultation – Derrigimlagh to Kylemore Greenway

Derrigimlagh to Kylemore Greenway Public Consultation 1

Galway County Council are inviting residents of the local area, members of the public and other interested parties to participate in a non-statutory public consultation on the study area, constraints and opportunities for the Derrigimlagh to Kylemore Greenway project. Your participation in this consultation is important, and we value any feedback which you think should be reviewed by the Project Team to help inform the development of the project.

To facilitate this, an in-person public consultation event will take place at Clifden Station House Hotel, Galway Road, Clifden, H71 AK52 on Tuesday 6^th February 2024 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Maps and documents will be on display and members of the Project Team will be available to discuss any queries or concerns regarding the project.

A project website has been developed, derrigimlaghtokylemoregreenway.ie, where all project information, including the maps and documents on display at the in-person public consultation event, can be accessed. A questionnaire is also available on the website, providing you an opportunity to have your say on the project.

Tá cuireadh á thabhairt ag Comhairle Chontae na Gaillimhe do chónaitheoirí an cheantair áitiúil, don phobal agus do pháirtithe leasmhara eile páirt a ghlacadh i gcomhairliúchán poiblí neamhreachtúil ar an limistéar staidéir, srianta agus deiseanna don thionscadal Glasbhealaigh idir Deirgimleach agus an Choill Mhór. Tá do rannpháirtíocht sa chomhairliúchán seo tábhachtach, agus is mór againn aon aiseolas a cheapann tú ar chóir d’fhoireann an Tionscadail athbhreithniú a dhéanamh air chun cabhrú le forbairt an tionscadail seo.

Chun é sin a éascú, beidh ócáid chomhairliúcháin phoiblí phearsanta ar siúl in Óstán Teach an Staisiúin,An Chlochán/Clifden Station House Hotel, Bóthar na Gaillimhe, An Clochán, H71 AK52 Dé Máirt 6^ú Feabhra 2024 ó 12:00pm go 8:00pm. Beidh léarscáileanna agus doiciméid ar taispeáint agus beidh baill d’Fhoireann an Tionscadail ar fáil chun aon cheisteanna nó ábhair imní a bhaineann leis an tionscadal a phlé.

Forbraíodh suíomh Gréasáin tionscadail, derrigimlaghtokylemoregreenway.ie, áit ar féidir rochtain a fháil ar gach eolas faoin tionscadal, lena n-áirítear na léarscáileanna agus na doiciméid a bheidh ar taispeáint ag an ócáid chomhairliúcháin phoiblí phearsanta. Tá ceistneoir ar fáil ar an suíomh gréasáin freisin, rud a thabharfaidh deis duit do thuairim a chur in iúl faoin tionscadal.
