On 31 August 2023, a delegation from Galway County Council met with a delegation from Connemara Chamber of Commerce in Clifden, Connemara.
Topics discussed at length in a 3 hour meeting included residential & commercial planning permission issues for Connemara, the need for a large Remote Working Hub for Clifden & Connemara and how traffic congestion in Galway City affects both north and south Connemara.
