LOTTO FAQs
Q. How can I buy a ticket?
A. For now, tickets can be purchased online @ https://smartlotto.ie/clifden-connemara-lotto/ and with the traditional lotto book in-store at King’s Paper Shop on Main Street, Clifden.
Q. Previously, I have done my tickets online – do I need to re-register?
A. Unfortunately yes, this is a revamped lotto system so we ask that you sign up once again and setup your account. It takes 2 minutes and you get €2 onto your account.
Q. What is the minimum purchase?
A. The minimum purchase is €2 but you must add a minimum of €5 credit to your account before you begin.
Q. What is the Jackpot Prize at now?
A. As this is a new lotto, the jackpot is €5000 which is one by matching 4 numbers. If the jackpot is not won, the jackpot increases every week by €100
Q. Was the previous Jackpot not at €9,500 – why is it reduced?
A. The last draw we had one year ago was for €9,500 https://www.facebook.com/ClifdenConnemaraLotto/photos/a.10150478746834603/10158056778859603/ . However, Covid has temporarily impacted our lotto resources so to be prudent we are starting off at €5,000 and working our way back up. All tickets for the last advertised draw are no longer valid. As we can’t even access the previous lotto books in each business, we would like to offer our past customers a complimentary ticket available from King’s Paper Shop on Main Street. Also, by signing up to the new lotto online https://smartlotto.ie/clifden-connemara-lotto/ you will get €2 credit.
Q. When and where does the Draw take place?
A. Our first draw Monday 26th April 2021 and then it’s on weekly very Monday (except Bank Holidays) at 4.00pm.. Watch the draw live or later on our dedicated lotto page https://www.facebook.com/ClifdenConnemaraLotto . Our loyal lotto customers will recall our lotto draw took place faithfully every Monday evening at 9.15pm in one of the great many pubs around Clifden. Due to Covid, the draw will take place online for now, hopefully getting back to normal as soon as possible.
