Connemara Pony Sales are Ireland’s largest and leading sale of Connemara Ponies and Horses. Based in Clifden, the heart of Connemara which hosts seven sales held annually in February, April, May, August, October and December (over 16 sales days) bringing together horse & pony buyers and sellers from around the globe. On any given day there will likely be in excess of 200 ponies catalogued offering our customers a huge selection to choose from which isn’t available elsewhere. These can range from foals to mares, unbroken to hunters, no matter what you would like to purchase it will be available at our sale. Welcome to a unique accommodation experience in Clifden, Co Galway Built for the Harbour Master nearly 200 years ago, The Quay House has been sensitively restored and now offers guest accommodation in fourteen bedrooms (all different) with full bathrooms – all but three overlook the Harbour.
